About Us

LoCo Racing  was established to share the fun and benefits of multi-sporting.  After getting into the sport as a tribute to our aunt diagnosed with ALS, triathlons and endurance sports became a family affair.  LoCo Racing is our way of bringing families and communities together in a healthy atmosphere, where competition exists in a friendly environment that nurtures well-being and healthy lifestyles.  Our goal at LoCo Racing is to provide seasoned athletes and the newest of "newbies" a chance to spread their wings and accomplish tasks beyond their expectations.  There is the opportunity to "just try it" or to excel and beat your own personal record at any event.  Getting children involved and introduced to a healthy, active lifestyle is also critical in fighting the obesity battle in the United States.  At LoCo Racing we encourage participation at all ages, and hope to set good examples for the young and old alike.

While the individuals benefit from our events, our underlying cause is to raise money to fight and find a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease.  Anyone who has seen the quick devastation that accompanies this disease knows that a cure must be found.  Watching a loved one literally die piece by piece as their body shuts down is a heart-breaking thing to go through.  No one should have to go through the pain and suffering that the victims and their families face as a body turns on itself and self-destructs.  LoCo Racing wants to be able to make the participants healthy as well as those people who are suffering from ALS.

Please join us at our events to have fun for yourself, but to also contribute to the hope of extending the life of someone that needs your help.

Great racing and enjoy!  Thanks for your support of LoCo Racing.
